Ocean Between is an alternative/indie rock band defined by distance, depth, and undeniable connection. Formed by four musicians spread across two continents—America and Europe—the band's name echoes the Atlantic Ocean that separates its members, while their sound bridges that divide with sweeping emotion and raw intensity.
Fronted by the compelling duo of Ricardo Ryan (vocals, guitar, Canada/Switzerland) and Chris Carrisales (vocals, USA), Ocean Between blends contrasting vocal textures—Ricardo’s introspective grit and Chris’s soaring urgency—into a unified, emotive force. Their interplay pushes beyond the typical frontman formula, delivering a rare dual-fronted energy on stage and in the studio.
Holding down the low end is Randall Cooper (bass, USA), whose grounded yet gritty tone gives the band its emotional weight. On drums and percussion, Pascal J. Kramer (drums, France/Switzerland) brings an international pulse and instinctive drive honed from years in the rock and british circuits.
Ocean Between is not just a name—it’s a metaphor for their process: writing across borders, rehearsing in time zones, and meeting on tour with an explosive presence forged in separation.
